According to The Sisson Newsletter, v 4 #2 p 6 and v 6 #1 p 14, Hiram Sisson was born in "Corwall" [Cornwall?], Addison County, Vermont. The legal papers fo his father's estate were sent to Hiram in Severance, Essex County, New York. All of Hiram and Eliza (Johnson) Sisson's children were born in Crown Point, New York. Probate letters were issued for Hiram 3 Oct 1865 (Book C, p 59) with son George W. Sisson administrator. Hiram married Eliza Johnson, daughter of Amos Johnson and Desire Atkins. (Eliza Johnson was born on 7 Feb 1808 in New Hampshire and died on 17 Jul 1888 in Crown Point, Essex County, New York.)
