Winfield Shipley Ornbaum

  General Notes:

I don't know anyone beyond my grandfather. His name was Windfield Orenbaum and there is a valley in Calif. with Orenbaum people living there. I think we are related, but don't know - his wife's name is Gettys (research of J.W. Straw on ancestry.com message board on April 2001)

According to this family tree, Winfield was the
son of James Clark Ornbaun and grandson of
John Shipley Ornbaum and Nancy Reed.
Thus, I'd conclude that Winfield was the great
grandson of James Ornbaum and the great great
grandson of Lewis (Ludwig) Orenbaum, a Revolutionary
War veteran. (Some of his records are under the
