John Bickford (b. 1856) is living next door to his brother in 1880 census of Wellington, Monroe County, Wisconsin in the HH of Wm and Elizabeth Lillie. [My note: Elizabeth says she is born in Maine (c1825)...could she be the former Elizabeth Bickford and the fwidow of John's father Freeman? Also in the HH is a young girl Emma Hamond. She is a probable d/o John's sister Elizabeth who m. John Hammond.]
John Bickford then shows up in insane asylum in 1900 census at Viroqua, WI.
