Jonathan Silverthorn

Jonathan's wife is most certainly Mary Lemon. The Lemon family from this same area retained the info that Mary's husband was a Silverthorn, but not his first name, and your family knew that her name was Mary, but didn't retain her surname. Mary's parents were Jacob 'Joseph' Lemon, b.1743 in (Sussex Co., NJ?), d.February 13, 1816 in Woodhouse, Ontario, and Mary Marr, b. 1747 in Mt. Bethel, Northampton Co., PA, BNA, d.March 19, 1823 in Woodhouse, both buried at Old Methodist Cem. in Lundy's Lane, Niagara Falls, Ont. They were married bef. 1769 in Mt. Jonathan married Mary Lemon, daughter of Jacob "Joseph" Lemon and Mary Marr. (Mary Lemon was born on 17 Mar 1777 in Ontario, Canada.)
