This is the probable Wm Mudget who came to Weathersfield in 1806 from "Ware" NH and died in W. in 1831. He had one known son named Charles who was a Justice of the Peace in W. for many years. [Gazetteer and Business Directory of Windsor County, Vermont 1883-1884; pub 2005] He is the Charles Mudgett b. 1814 Vt who appears in Weathersfield in 1850 census
