Per Don Higgins and Wiggins History of Aroostook Co. ME the family came to Clifford Settlement at Reed Plantation in 1836 and then to Lincoln Center. Don feels the Straw girls who married the Adams boys were daughters of Asa Straw. Other source is census of 1840-1850 which indicates that Asa lived Reed Plantation at that time.
