research of Marge on www.familysearch.com - He was farmer, town officer, and Captain during the Revolutionary War; died at his son John's in Northfield. Cutting, 1775, served at Pierce's Island, and, 1777, raised a company for the defense of Piscataqua Harbor.
Cutting married Martha Morrill circa 1761. (Martha Morrill was born circa 1740 and died circa 1830.)
