KENTON - Mrs. Julia V. Burkey, 55, died in Hardin County Hospital 4:20 p.m. Saturday. She had been ill five years.
Born in Wyandot County March 11, 1896, she was a daughter of Charles and Mary E. (Straw) Mallisky. She had lived in Hardin County since 1938. She married Harvey F. Burkey in 1916, he survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Justin F. of Kenton and Harvey Jr. of rural Kenton; a daughter, Eva Louise Burkey of Upper Sandusky; one sister, Mrs. Harry (Stella) Thompson of Forest; two step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Schindewolf-Steiner and Stevens Frneral Home, Kenton, with Rev. Floyd Jepson officiating. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery.
