MRS. LEGGETT, 88, OF CHESTERTOWN, DIES

Mrs. Jannette (Hall) Leggett, 88, died last night at her home at Chestertown. Mrs. Leggett had been in good health. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Carrie180-g7Le8 E. Starbuck and Miss Helen184-g7Le8 J. Leggett of Chestertown; one son, Clarkson181-g7Le8 H. Leggett of Chestertown; and six grandchildren, Joseph92b-g8Le8 H. Leggett, Miss Ruth92a-g8Le8 E. Leggett, George92c-g8Le8 A. Leggett, Charles92-g8Le8 R. Leggett and Samuel Starbuck, all of Chestertown, and Robert Starbuck of Plattsburg. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.

Chestertown - Funeral services for Mrs. Jannette H. Leggett, 88, who died Thursday night at her home here, will be conducted at 2 P.M. Sunday in the Methodist Episcopal Church. The Rev. Clair Carpenter, pastor, will officiate. Interment will be in Leggett Cemetery

Sarah married Charles Sanford Leggett. (Charles Sanford Leggett was born in 1847, died on 19 Oct 1911 and was buried in Chester Rural Cemetery (Leggett).)
