research of J. Holzer on www.rootsweb.com - Lilley was born in Lambton County, Thomas in Adelaide township, Middles ex County, Ontario. Moved to Oelwein, Iowa with her parents, there married Thomas, later moving to Kansas City with Thomas’ brothers who left Adelaide and went to Kansas City. Thomas was the son of William Conkey and Mary Ann Gourley. He went to Oelwein where he married Lilley, and began their family. There is still some confusion regarding these children. Lillie died in Ponca City, Oklahoma in the home of her son Roy and his family. Both are buried in Mt Moriah Cemetery in Kansas City, MO. A newspaper picture of Thomas was found in 1992 in the Darius Conkey album.

Found birth and death data on US Social Security Death Index. - SS# 442-09 -3021. His last payment was to Lees Summit, Jackson County, Missouri. R oy was living in Ponca City, Oklahoma in 1933 when his mother died at h is home.

Lilly married Thomas Conkey. (Thomas Conkey was born on 24 Nov 1852 in W. Adelaide, Middlesex, Ontario, died in 1940 in Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri and was buried in Mt Moriah Cemetery in Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri.)
