Elbridge married Sarah Gould Johnson, daughter of Samuel Emerson Johnson and Eliza E. Straw, on 20 Aug 1862 in Plymouth, Grafton County NH. (Sarah Gould Johnson was born on 1 Apr 1844 in Campton, Grafton County, New Hampshire and died on 26 Dec 1931 in Grafton County Home for the Aged;.). The cause of her death was valvular heart disease.
