He was born prematurely, was one of the first "preemies" to survive. His mother put him in a box with an electric light to keep him warm, fed him with an eye dropper. Electricity was new then. He was much adored by his sister's four children. I loved visiting him when I was in college. Henry may not be buried in this cemetery, but his young daughter is, so he is being remembered here, plus he died in Concord.
He was the youngest of the three children of Charles H. Huston and Hattie Gray. He was a mason and brick layer by trade, following in the footsteps of his father. When he was almost 23 years old, he married Doris Jeannette Straw on June 8, 1916, in Bedford, Massachusetts. They had three children:
Jeannette Straw Huston, born 7 February 1921; died 2004;
David Straw Huston, born 9 September, 1925; died 21 May, 2016; and
Carol, born 2 May, 1932; sadly died age 10 on 9 May, 1942, and is buried in this cemetery.
Henry was employed by the Stone and Webster Engineering Corporation.
From the Patriot Ledger, published in Quincy, Massachusetts, on Tuesday, February 8, 1921, comes the following:
"Mr. and Mrs. Henry H. Huston of Jewette City, Connecticut, formerly of 16 Colby Road, Atlantic, are receiving congratulations on the birth of a daughter on Monday who has been named Jeannette Straw Huston"

Henry married Doris Jeanette Straw, daughter of Frank Leighton Straw and Lilla Belle Estabrook, on 8 Jun 1916 in Bedford, Massachusetts.
