David N. Straw
BROOKLINE, Mass. - David N. Straw, formerly of the Seacoast area, died Friday, Feb. 17, 2006, after a long illness.
"Rocky" was born Sept. 26, 1941, in Portsmouth, N.H., son of Neal and Ellen A. (Cole) Straw. He attended Mt. Saint Charles Academy in Woonsocket, R.I.; Cheverus Academy in Portland; and the University of New Hampshire in Durham, N.H.
He was employed at Booth Fisheries and Hammer Industrial Supply Co. before moving to Boston where he had a landscaping business. He was an avid photographer and loved to travel. He will be missed by many friends.
Per his request, there will be no funeral services. Lucas & Eaton Funeral Home, 91 Long Sands Road, York, Maine, is in charge of arrangements.
