Born into wealth privledge on March 4, 1902 but the time Ezekiel reached time for employment, Amoskeag Mills which made his family rich and famous had pretty much depleted.
He entered into a career of investment banking, he and Virginia lived in a beautiful home at 308 River Road which still exists today. The house today has an address of 282 River Rd owned by his father William Parker Straw
He was born as Ezekiel A. Straw Jr. named after his Grandfather former NH Governor and Amoskeag Mill owner Ezekiel A. Straw. Apparently Ezekiel dropped the Jr. from his name when his first son was born, and he became Jr.
