"Alaiedon Farmer Dies at Ann Arbor Hospital
Julius D Terry, 71 year old Alaiedon farmer, passed away at the Anbor Hospital Sunday after an illness fo 4 weeks. He had lived alone at his farm 2 1/2 miles northeast of Mason since the death of Mrs Terry eight years ago. Mr Terry was born November 10, 1956 at Pontiac, Michigan. In 1880 he was married to Miss Hettie Straw of Gaines, Michigan and they lived in Genesee County until Mrs. Terry passed away. One child born to this union died in infancy, the other four daughters survive.
They are Mrs Thomas Dunford of Syracuse, NY; Mrs J. L.Stanley of Lansing; Mrs Col Spear of Mason and Mrs George Brown of Redford. four brothers and one sister also survive......Burial Maple Grove Cemetery."
Julius married Harriet Irene Straw, daughter of David Nelson Straw and Mary Ann Needham, on 10 Nov 1880 in Gaines, Genesee County, Michigan. (Harriet Irene Straw was born on 21 Feb 1864 in Grand Blanc, Genesee County, Michigan and died in 1920.)
