Online "Northern New York Historical Newspapers," Ticonderoga Sentinel, Thu 06 Apr 1911, obit "W. B. Viall Dead." "William B. Viall, who was stricken with paralysis in Ticonderoga last November, died yesterday morning at his home in Plattsburg. Mr. Viall was born in Crown Point March 4th, 1855, and before going to Plattsburg had been a resident of Mineville, where he was in business many years, and Ticonderoga. As traveling salesman for Ricketson & Co. of Plattsburg he was widely known in this section of the state and was one of the most popular members of the traveling fraternity. The remains will be taken to Crown Point for interment Friday morning. Funeral services will be held from the Congregational church at one o'clock. Mr. Viall is survived by his wife, four daughters and two sons."
