WINAMAC '97 Alberta L. Straw, 68, Winamac, Ind., died at 8:40 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka.
Alberta was born May 26, 1944 in Winamac. She was a Human Resources Manager at Kewanna Metal Specialty. Alberta enjoyed Indiana University basketball. She especially enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She helped to organize the Reinholt Reunion for many years.
Survivors include a brother Albert (Debbie) Straw, Winamac; three nieces, Leslie Miller, Granger, Jennifer Straw, Lafayette, and Angela Straw, Logansport; one nephew, Scott Straw, Winamac; five great-nieces and nephews, Ashley Miller, Jamee Miller, Joel Miller, Abbey Miller and Julee Miller.
She was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Agnes Reinholt Straw.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Frain Mortuary, Winamac with the Rev. Jarrel Hartle officiating. Burial will take place at McKinley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Winamac. Visitation will be from noon to 3 p.m. Wednesday at Frain Mortuary.
