Johannas "John" Redl
(1833-) |
Johannas "John" Redl
General Notes: T. Walden notes: "Redl seems to be a fairly common name in Hungary. Hungary was part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire in 1833 but wikipedia says that you were not allowed to hold dual citizenship so you were either an Austrian or a Hungarian. If John were Austrian he would probably be called Johannes and if Hungarian, possibly Janos." Johannas married Margretha Worringer. (Margretha Worringer was born on 17 Aug 1834 in Dormagen, Rheinland, Prussia, died on 12 Aug 1914 and was buried in Saint Peters Calvary Cemetery in Newcastle, Dixon County, Nebraska.) |
