..he passed away when I was 5 (1976). They always said he was adopted, but he was really just raised by the Shipes. I confirmed that on the census. I tried tracing Estella back and Henry Niles, but there is no reference of indian anywhere. My Mom said Tracy looked indian, but they never really talked about it.
