The earliest SNOW family I have record of is David S. Snow, b. Lunenburg, Essex Co., VT 31 Aug 1820 who married Hannah Silsby Straw in 1846 and died 30 Jan 1906 Whitefield, Coos Co., NH. Hannah Silsby Straw was b. 13 Nov 1823 Unity, NH, bapt. 4 July 1824 Acworth, NH; d. 10 Oct 1906 Whitefield, Coos, NH. Both are buried Pine Street Cem, Whitefield, Coos, NH. David S. Snow was a carpenter and eventually for many years manager of a door sash, lock, and blind company in Whitefield, NH.Children were (1)Edwin Monroe Snow, b. 15 Apr 1848 Whitefield, NH; marr. Sally Ann Hutchins Whitefield, Coos, NH, 1 Jan. 1870; d. 24 July 1922 Whitefield, Coos, NH, buried Pine Street Cem, Whitefield, NH. (2)Marietta F. Snow, b. 29 May 1850 Whitefield,NH; a teacher; d. 14 Oct 1905 Whitefield, NH; bur. Pine Street Cem, Whitefield, NH. (3)Andrew Fayette Snow, b. 30 Apr 1852 Whitefield, NH; marr. Isabel F. Howland 25 Oct 1873. (4) David Alberto Snow, b. 10 Dec 1854 NH; marr. Mary L. Wells; d. 14 June 1932 Whitefield, NH. (5) Elbridge W. Snow, b. Dora M. in 1887.
