Not sure if we are from the same Straw family .My Grandmother Sarah Straw Fay was born in Newcastle New Hampshire .Her father was John Straw who was wounded twice in the civil war . She married William Levitt Fay from Swampscott and is buried with him in the Swampscott Cemetery in Swampscott Ma her and William had a total of five children one still born that is buried someplace in New Castle .Arnold, George and Gladys all died before the age of four and are buried with Sarah and William in Swampscott their fifth child Ralph Levitt Fay was my father and died in 1946 and is also buried in the family plot in Swampscott . I have a lot more information on John and his family but it is at home and I am at work if we are of the same family I am more than willing to share what I have . Not sure if there is a connection as from what I information I have John only had two children Sarah and a boy who died young so the connection would have to be with John siblings . I do believe the majority of the family is buried in Clermont NH
