PEMBROKE '96 Mary S. Rand, 75, of 408 Pembroke Street, died Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Concord Hospital.
She was born on September 19, 1939 in Wolfeboro, the daughter of the late Carroll and Charlotte (Howe) Straw. Mary worked for 35 years as a school bus driver for such companies as Lakes Region Transit and Peaslee Transit. She loved to drive and enjoyed spending time on the road.
She is survived by her son, Glenn A. Rand and his wife Alison of Concord, two daughters; Melanie A. Blakeney and her husband Errol of Amissville, VA and Pamela L. Swancott and her husband Michael of Apopka, Florida and three grandchildren; Hailey Rand, Maxwell Rand and Cory Swancott.
There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held at 11AM on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at Pine Grove Cemetery in Gilford.
Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N.H. is assisting the family with the arrangements.
