Myrick who was born in 1818 in VT and died 1882. in the 1870 census these 2 women are living together with Sophia as HOH [there is also a listing for Sophia Myrick in Haverhill, MA]
In 1860 Williamson, NY Sophia and "Viona" are living together. Viona is listed as "idiotic as caused by fits"...in 1850 Sophia Merick is age 60 and born CT and Jane [Viorna J.?] is age 30 born VT....since I found Sophia and Moses living in Haverhill, MA in 1850 with no young female in the 30 yr range...this Sophia does not appear to be the correct Sophia.
