David Straw

  General Notes:

David is a possible s/o Simeon Straw who lived in Chittenden County, VT in 1810 with two males born 1790-1800; however he could also be the s/o Israel a bro of Simeon who remained in Maine. Israel had 4 males born 1790-1800 that I can't find names for. There were also Leavenworths who married into the STREW lines of Windsor County, VT...could David be a s/o of Moses Straw and Mary?

Census for 1860 Vernon, Trumbull, Ohio, shows a David SHAW, age 70, living with Richard & Minerva Mizner. NOTE: David SHAW gives his POB as ME, not VT as in 1850 census.
By 1870 No Straws in Trumbull Co., OH.

(Betsey Leavenworth was born circa 1800 in Connecticut, christened on 7 May 1802 in Oxford Congregational Church in New Haven, Connecticut and died circa 1849 in Ohio.)
