Miriam is probable d/o William Straw and Mehitable Currier. Her probable sister Hannah was born 1762 and would have been about 24 at time of marriage to Thaddeus Grimes.they amrried in Amherst. Her probable sister Sarah [Mrs Reuben Dimond Mussey/Muzzey] lived in Amherst for a while. Based on the fact that all three females were born and married in same time frame and place, I have assigned Miriam as Wm and Mehitable's daughter
