J. Lowell Straw

J. Lowell Straw of Crawfordsville, formerly of Ladoga, died Tuesday evening in Franciscan St. Elizabeth Central Hospital at Lafayette. He was 74.
Mr. Straw retired from Triangle Engineering at Indianapolis where he was a machinist. He was a member of the Crossroads Community Church of the Nazarene.
He was born Nov. 5, 1937, at Chrisman, Ill., to John and Mary (Richardson) Straw. He married Sandra Conwell on Nov. 30, 1957, at Indianapolis. She survives.
Other survivors include: daughters Linda (Jeff) Keeling of North Carolina, Laura (Chris) Walters of Covington, Lisa (Kevin) Davis of Ladoga; brothers, Ramon Straw of Beech Grove, Maurice (Joan) Straw of Chrisman, Ill.; and one sister Kathryn "Jim" Wells of Chrisman, Ill.; eight grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
A daughter is deceased.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at Crossroads Community Church of the Nazarene, 117 E. State Road 234, Ladoga, with the Rev. Mark Roberts officiating. Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. (Central time) at Franklin Cemetery near Chrisman, Ill. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Friday at the church. Servies & Morgan is handling the arrangements.
