www.genealogybank.com The Daily News, (Batavia, NY) - Tuesday, March 10, 2015 Clifford H. Straw, 76, of Pike passed away peacefully Monday (March 9, 2015) at his home. He was born Sept. 27, 1938, in Buffalo, son of the late Tracy and Rose Straw. Cliff worked for over 30 years at Kittinger Furniture Company in Castile. He then worked for the Gunlocke Company until his retirement. He enjoyed walking and working at Letchworth State Park and was part of the Green Thumb program at the park. Cliff was a foster parent through the Hillside Agency for 16 years and he and his wife, Sharon decided to name their home the "Eagle's Nest." He loved sports, especially sporting events that involved watching his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife, Sharon Greene Straw; his children, Lisa (Kevin) Miskell of Livonia, Angenette Bacon (Dave Allen) of Gainesville, Loretta Butler (Eric) of Pike, Jason Straw (Chloe) of Pike, Sarena Straw of Pike; 11 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. There are no calling hours. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 14 at the Pike Community Church.
