Doris Louise (Blowers) Golley, 82, of Cicero, passed peaceably into the arms of her Lord on November 22, 2012, at St. Joseph's Hospital after a short illness. Doris was a resident of Cicero for 63 years and was an active member of Beacon Baptist Church, Clay.
She was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd, in 1984 and a son, Ronald, in 1979.
Doris is survived by sons Daniel (Keiko) of Cicero and Laurence of Hastings; daughters Janet Straw of Kirkville, Cynthia Sohi of Texas, Elaine (Alan) Majerus of Florida, Deloris (Jeffery) Michaels of Ontario, Colette (Jeffrey) Seltzer of East Syracuse and Colleen (John) Whipple of Texas; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters Emily (Richard) Goodin of Vernon Center and Roseanne (Jim) Wheeler of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be 10 a.m. Monday, November 26, 2012, at Beacon Baptist Chruch, 4800 Route 31, Clay. Burial will be held in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, November 25, at Williams Funeral Home, 8261 South Main St. (Rte. 11), Cicero, NY.

Doris married Lloyd Golley. (Lloyd Golley was born on 5 Nov 1926, died on 28 May 1984 and was buried in Pine Plains Cemetery in Clay, New York.)
