Eliakim II, the son of Eliakim Howe Sr and Rebecca Howe-Howe, married Ruth Corliss 17 Dec 1889 [s/b 1789?] in Weare, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire. There is a lot of confusion over the internet between Eliakim II and Eliakim, son of Jonathan. It was Eliakim (born in 1780), son of Jonathan, who married Sarah Dean in Jefferson County, Indiana and died in Lewisport Hancock County, Kentucky.
Eliakim II and Ruth Corliss' children are:
Hannah Howe,Tillotson "Tilly" Howe, Mary Howe, Eliakim Howe III, Sally Howe, and William Farwell Howe. Eliakim was on the 1830 census living in Holland twp, Erie County, New York. The 1840 census showed Ruth alone in Holland twp, Erie County, New York. Therefore, believed Eliakim Howe II died between 1830-1840 in Holland twp. Also believed Ruth had died about 1845 in Holland too and both is buried together but don't really know where.
