Alice V. Schramm, daughter of Roldand Warren Schramm and Norma Alice Beetem, was born in 1931 in Maitiland, Missouri. She married Harry Dean Salisbury on December 30, 1947 in Red Oak, Iowa. They lived in various locations as her husband worked different jobs while in the Red Oak area. Harry then re-entered the U.S. Navy in 1955. He served on numerous ships and bases before his retirement on December 1, 1970; serving a total of 20 years in the U.S. Navy. Harry then transferred to the Fleet Reserve. In 1972, Harry and Alice moved to southwest Iowa where they lived in Griswold for a short time and then moved to Red Oak. He worked for Moore Electric for 2 years while working other jobs. They moved to Shenandoah in l974, where they owned and operated Shenandoah Electric until 1984. From 1982 to l984 they made their home in Coin, Iowa. After selling their business, Harry and Alice enjoyed traveling. In 1990, they returned to Red Oak

Alice married Harry Dean Salisbury, son of Harry Dale Salisbury and Inis Pearl Straw. (Harry Dean Salisbury was born on 18 Feb 1925 in Red Oak, Montgomery County, Iowa, died on 13 Aug 2007 in Red Oak, Montgomery County, Iowa and was buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Red Oak, Montgomery County, Iowa.)
