Mrs. Grace Bennett, 73, died suddenly Tuesday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Regis I Manion, Chestertown. She was a member of the Brant Lake Baptist Church. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Manion and Miss Louise Baker, Chestertown; Mrs. Mildred I Middleton and Mrs. Carrie Duell, Brant Lake, and Mrs. Earl Anderwarn, Glens Falls; two sons, Smith Baker, Poultney. Vt., and Rupert Baker, Glens Falls; three sisters, Mrs. Seymour Remington. Mis. Arthur Baker and Mrs. John Bennett, Brant Lake; two brothers. William Bolton, Brant Lake, and Theodore Bolton, Glens Falls; also 21 grandchildren and 11 greatgrandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted today at 2 p.m. in the Brant Lake Baptist Church. The Rev. E. W. Entwistle, pastor, officiated. Burial was in North Brant Lake Cemetery.

Grace married Stephen Arthur Baker, son of Smith Baker and Caroline "Carrie" Hill, in Aug 1895. (Stephen Arthur Baker was born on 16 Feb 1876 in Horicon, Warren County, New York, died on 12 Nov 1948 in Starbuckville, Warren County, New York and was buried in Brant Lake Cemetery in Horicon, New York.)
