Alba was the son of Hollis M. Owen and Elsie May Howe.
On Feb 15, 1911 in Colebrook he married Bertha Carr, daughter of Everett Carr and Ann Major. That was her parents names on the marriage certificate; on her death certificate they were listed as Ernest Carr and May Hanson.
After their marriage they lived in Hereford, Canada. They had visited the U.S. multiple times. Then on May 18, 1920 they permanently immigrated from Canada thru Beecher Falls, VT and made their home in Colebrook, NH. On their border crossing card Bertha's contact was Mrs. Everett Gray of Hereford and Alba's contact was Mrs. Elsie M. Straw of Hereford (his mother).
His wife, Bertha, died on March 14, 1931 in Colebrook, NH.
On Mar 14, 1936 in Colebrook, NH he married Mable F. (Knapp) Boudle, daughter of Chandler Knapp and Delia Trask. She was divorced from husband Nelson Boudle.
They divorced before Aug 25, 1938 when Mabel remarried her 1st husband Nelson J. Boudle, son of William Boudle and Hattie B. Jarvis.
I don't know if Alba married again. I also can't find any children for him with either wife.
