Derek Joseph "Dick" Greene

   Cause of his death was pancreatic cancer.

Passed away peacefully at home on Thursday March 7, 2013 with his loving family at his side. Dick Greene in his 52nd year loving husband of Cindy. Proud father of Melody (Bud) Johnson, Allison Greene (Tomokazu Inuzuka) and Stephen Greene. Devoted grandfather of Jannah, Matthew, Tyler, Emiko and Aiko. Dick is also survived by his sisters Connie (Ed) White, Sherry Greene (Paul Bruce) and Cara (Graham) Thurston, his brothers Joe Greene and Rodney Greene (Michele Jirku-Greene) and also his step-sisters Marilyn (Lawrence) Myles, Mary (Vince) Ennis, Brenda (Rod) King and Deborah (Jim) Doherty and his step-brothers Ern (Linda) Hoben and Don (Teri) Hoben. Predeceased by his parents Joe and Mary Greene along with his step-mother Gladys Greene. Dick will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his many relatives and friends. Friends may call at ADAMS FUNERAL HOME, 445 St. Vincent St., Barrie (just north of Cundles Rd.) on Monday, March 11, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 1 o'clock p.m. Visitation from 12 p.m. until time of service. Interment St. Francis Xavier Church Cemetery, Long Harbour Newfoundland. Memorial donations to Pancreatic Cancer Canada would be appreciated by the family.
