for consideration:
James Brewer is buried in St. Kyran's...could he be the father of Michael who married Selina Gaulton and/or the father of David who married Mary Connors/O'Connor. James was born 1813 in Davis Cove...there is also a Mary Brewer buried in same place born 1819.....there is a strong possibility that James and Mary may be the parents of Michael and David..based on time and place...there is also an Elizabeth Brewer born c1843 who could be another sibling of Michael and David...her death records do not indicate marital status....and I find no male Brewer with a wife named Elizabeth in this time or place.....I will leave James here as probable father of Michael and David and Elizabeth until I find documentation to prove otherwise.

Also a Mary Brewer b. 1864 [another d/o James and Mary?] who married Martin Carroll -witness was Jane Ann Brewer d/o Michael Brewer/Selina Gaulton and probable neice of Mary?

James married Mary Hepditch, daughter of Richard Hepditch and Catherine, on 15 Aug 1837. (Mary Hepditch was born in 1819 in Clattice Harbor, Newfoundland, died on 25 May 1905 in Clattice Harbor, Newfoundland and was buried in St. Kyran's Cemetery Newfoundland.). The cause of her death was "old age."
