Henry Joseph Hynes
On Saturday, July 7, 2012 Henry Joseph Hynes of Port au Port East passed away at the age of 68 years following a courageous battle with cancer. Henry leaves to mourn his loving and devoted wife of 43 years Nena, two beautiful daughters: Kelly (Lockyer) Mercer and Karen Hynes (Lorne), along with his two precious grandsons: Steven and Landon Mercer. Also surviving are his many brothers and sisters, brothers and sisters-in-law, his nieces, nephews and a huge circle of friends. Henry was predeceased by his parents John and Anastasia Hynes, mother and father-in-law, Gordon and Veronica Hynes, two sisters, Carmelita and Pauline Hynes and his brother-in-law, John Snook. Friends may call at the Maria Regina Parish in Port au Port East on Wednesday, July 11th from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, July 12th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Friday, July 13th at 2:00 p.m. at Maria Regina Parish in Port au Port East with Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Port au Port East. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations can be made in Henry's memory to the Janeway Children's Hospital Foundation.
