GREENE, Cecily Madonna (nee Leonard) October 26th, 1926 - November 20th, 2005 Passed peacefully away after a lengthy illness at the Health Sciences Centre, Cecily Madonna Greene, age 79 years. Predeceased by her parents David and Mary Leonard, baby brother Ignatius, baby son Terence and special aunt Sr. Clarence Greene. Leaving to mourn her devoted and loving husband Ted of 53 years. Eight equally loving and devoted children: Sandra Valone (Roger), Russ (Linda), Jeanette Greene (Rick), Vivian White (Dave), Winnie Spurgeon (Glen), Rick (Marilyn), Dale (Denise), and Dave (Sharon). Sisters: Annie O'Rourke (late Val), Mary Sweeney (Mike), Loretta Wadman (Jack), and Margaret Parsons (Willie). Brother-in-law Austin (Angela) Greene. Sisters-in-law : Winnifred (late Ed), and Patrica (Mac). Lovingly remembered by 17 grandchildren: Jamie (Rhonda), Dana, Gwen (Jay), Glen Jr. (Danielle), Michelle, Amanda, Robyn, Gail, Deanne (Jason), Terri (Shawn), Victoria, Krista, Adam, Ashley, Kyle, Amber-Lee and Travis. Four great-grandchildren: Madison, Riley, Eric, Jack and also many nieces, nephews and special friends. Special thanks to the nurses of 4 South A, Health Sciences Centre who were so good to her. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Rd on Monday and Tuesday from 12-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will take place on Wednesday, November 23rd, 2005 at 9:30 a.m. from Corpus Christi Church. Interment to follow at the R.C. Cemetery, Kilbride. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
