Passed peacefully away on Friday, October 13, 2017, John Thomas Hepditch, at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, at the age of 90 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his daughters: Regina Hepditch Vardy (Darrell), St. John's, Maureen Anderson (George), St. John's, Margaret Hepditch (Steve Howlett), Little Rapids, Arlene d'Eon (Bennett), Corner Brook and Anne Hepditch (Robert Cantin), Trois-Rivieres, Quebec; son Aidan Hepditch (Cindy), Corner Brook; grandchildren: Kevin Joseph (Holly Costello), Dylan Anderson, Patrick d'Eon and Jake Anderson; great-grandsons Rudy Joseph; sister Mary Coleman, Corner Brook; brothers: Leo (Margaret), Corner Brook and Francis (Sharon), Orillia, Ontario; sister-in-law Mary, Mount Pearl; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Marie (nee Carey), parents John and Laura Hepditch, brothers Pat (Elizabeth) and Ray, sister Sarah Margaret. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue on Sunday and Monday from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial and Celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. from All Hallows Parish, Humber Road with Father Andrew White officiating. John married Marie Rita Carey, daughter of Clifford Carey and Margaret, in 1959 in Corner Brook, Newfoundland. (Marie Rita Carey was born on 27 Nov 1935 in Conche, Newfoundland, died on 13 Apr 1998 in Corner Brook, Newfoundland and was buried in Mount Patricia Cemetery.)
