Hannah Lewis September 22, 1927 - February 18, 2021 t is with saddened hearts that we announce that our dear aunt, Hannah Lewis (nee Brewer), passed away in St. John's, on February 18, 2021. She has made her final journey home. Hannah is predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Clarence Lewis; her sister, Madonna; her niece, Gail; and her nephew,William. Hannah was well loved and lived a happy and good life to 93 years. She was a woman of great love and kindness, always ready to share a laugh and a good memory. For many years she worked at the Grace Hospital and was an active member of St. Patrick's Parish for many decades. Hannah was passionate about her faith, her cooking and baking, her knitting and sewing, her bingo and card games, and caring for others especially for her friends and family members. She so enjoyed being with people and celebrated many special occasions with them throughout her life. Aunt Hannah will be greatly missed. Truly, the world is a better place for having had her in it. Se was a blessing in so many lives. She is now reunited with God and many loved ones who have gone before, including her beloved cat, Fluffy. We thank Karwood Retirement Retreat for their wonderful care for Hannah in the final years of her life. The friends she made there were cherished and checked on her regularly during her sickness. Special thanks to her great circle of close & devoted friends who showed her immense kindness and care. Thanks to Fathers, Kolonel, Fleming, and Melvin for their faith, guidance and support. A special thanks to the medical staff at St. Clare's for their attentive care for Hannah in the last weeks of her life. It eased her suffering. Her nieces, Bernadette (Glenn) and Darlene (Arthur), along with her great-nephew, Shane, wish to thank you for your prayers and condolences.
