GENEVA \endash Jennie Lee Bloomquist, 81, of Geneva, formerly of Greenwood, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2012 in Geneva.
She was born March 24, 1931 in Auburn to Howard and Mary (Woods) Snow. She grew up in Auburn where she attended grade school and high school. Her family was her life and she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by twin sister, Mary D. Snow; her parents; sisters, Dorthea Snow, Gwendolyn Snow and Peggy Hutson; brothers Donald and Howard Snow and former husbands Marvin Davison, Henry Kessler and Rollian Bloomquist.
She is survived by her children and spouses, Marletta and Clarence Mounce and John and Kim Kessler, all of Geneva, Ruth and Robert Weed of Colorado, Corlynda and Wayne Gorman of Reno, Nev., Randy and Julie Kessler of Justice, Ill., Chris Kessler and fiancé Patricia Evans of Geneva, Rollian and Jennifer Bloomquist of Greenwood, Laura Carbaugh of Geneva; 31 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Harold Snow of Idaho and Bill Snow of Arizona; sisters Lois Janicke of Benkelman, Betty Reichstein of Arizona and Sally Straw of Gretna and good friend, Flossie Mounce of York.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 23, 2012 at First Christian Church in Ashland.
Interment at Greenwood Memorial Cemetery in Greenwood.
Visitation will be Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.
