DEXTER - Beatrice Ogden, 71, died Monday, June 8, 1987 at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. She was born in East Corinth, July 23, 1915, the daughter of Roy and Florence (Straw) Cheney. She was the wife of the late Walter "BoBo" Ogden. Mrs. Ogden was a member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by three sons, Gary, Kenneth and Randy, all of Dexter; one daughter, Myrna Nageldinger of New Port Richey, Fla; two brothers, Therl Cheney of Windham and Rodney Cheney of Willimantic, Conn; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Crosby Funeral Home, 238 Main St., Dexter, 2 p.m., Thursday, with Herbert Braswell officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Wednesday. Interment will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
Beatrice married Walter L. Ogden, son of Robert S. Ogden and Bertha Page, after 1930. (Walter L. Ogden was born on 18 Oct 1914 in Harmony, Somerset County, Maine, died on 12 Aug 1961 in Togus, Kennebec County, Maine and was buried in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Dexter, Maine.)
