[Notes: Isaac is Jason Straw...census taker may have inverted son Isaac and father Jason as son is listed as James N rather than Isaac N. Also Jane is listed as "John" and designated a male. Carolyn is also not listed and should have been as she did not die until 1851...unless she was in another household?]

I have not been able to find a cause of death for Jason but he also lost his daughter Carolyn the same year so perhaps some influenza type malady?

I have not found his place of burial in any documentation but suspect it is the Bowsherville Cemetery. There is a listing there for a Samuel C. Straw [died 20 Oct 1851] that I can't connect to anyone. Could it be the burial of Jason with a lot owned by his brother Samuel C(ady) Straw? Samuel Cady Straw has his own listing for that cemetery as well as his wife and 4 of their children who died young. Jason's daughter Carolyn is also in that cemetery and buried with Harpsters [her mother's maiden name] I will assign Jason's burial location as Bowsherville Cemetery until someone can prove elsewise and use the date of death as 20 Oct 1851. I have also made an entry on www.findagrave.com to indicate this.
