the STRAWS in Thornton 1830 were Dudley and John. [John married Abigail Piper who died 1831 ] but they had a son Wm born 1811 so Dudley seems to be his father.

I believe him to be the same William Straw who is father of Laura Jennie Marsh who was born in Thornton to William Straw [37012] and Hannah G. P. Marsh? On Laura's marriage records she gives her father's name as Wm Straw and mother as Hannah Marsh.She does the same on her death records

William married Hannah Gordon Pattee Marsh, daughter of John Marsh and Miriam Pattee. (Hannah Gordon Pattee Marsh was born in 1820 in Thornton, Grafton County, New Hampshire, died on 4 Jun 1890 in Thornton, Grafton County, New Hampshire and was buried in Pine Grove Cemetery in Thornton, New Hampshire.)
