William married Nancy Jane Lewis, daughter of Zadoc Smith Lewis and Sarah Stowell, on 27 Nov 1851 in Goshen, New Hampshire. (Nancy Jane Lewis was born on 17 Jul 1832 in Goshen, Sullivan County, New Hampshire, died on 26 Dec 1917 in Franklin, Norfolk County, Massachusettes and was buried in Union Cemetery in Franklin, Massachusetts.)
