HAGUE — Anna N. (Robbins) Denno, 72, of Split Rock Road, passed away Saturday, Feb. 23, 2002, at the Moses-Ludington Hospital of Ticonderoga.
Born in Hague, June 16, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Benajah M. and bertha M. (Spaulding) Robbins.
Mrs. Denno was a lifetime Hague resident. She was a communicant of the Blessed Sacrament Church of Hague, where she served as a Eucharistic minister. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Court of St. Mary's#794 of Ticonderoga.
She was employed as a home-health aide for many years.
Mrs. Denno especially enjoyed her church, family and gardening.
She was a member of the Hague Volunteer Fire Department, the Hague Senior Citizens Club and the Hope Cancer Support Group of Hague.
She was predeceased by her husband, Bernard E. (Buck) Denno, on May 11, 2001. They were married 57 years. She was also predeceased by two sons, Joseph J. Denno in 1987, and Robert A. Denno in 1997.
Survivors include four sons, Bernard R. (Two Buck) Denno and Ralph H. Denno, both of Hague, Peter B. Denno of Springtown, Texas, and Thomas J. Denno of Ticonderoga; nine daughters, Barbara L. Tyler of Anna Maria, Fla., Pamela A. Denno of Petersburg, N.Y., Deborah J. Reid and Michele M. Gautreau, both of Hague, Marie A. Dove of Bradentown, Fla., Theresa M. Gagliardi of Glens Falls, Mary Anna Osier and Bernadette A. Denno, both of Ticonderoga, and Maureen M. Germain of Middlebury, Vt.; and four sisters, Pauline Hill and Juanita Nestor, both of Ticonderoga, Beatrice Frasier of Hague, and Dorothea Liberty of North Hudson. She is also survived by 34 grandchildren, more than 20 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Wilcox & Regan Funeral Home, 11 Algonkin St., Ticonderoga. The Catholic Daughers will gather for prayers at 7:30 this evening at the funeral home.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, 10: 30 a.m. at the Blessed Sacrament Church of Hague. The Rev. George P. Fleming, pastor, will officiate.
Interment will follow at the family plot of the Old Hague Cemetery of Hague.
