James Staples Jr. b.27 Feb 1799 was the son of Capt.James Staples b;10 May 1773 d;12 Mar 1855, age 81 years 10 months Lemington. He was the sea captain of a whaler. he lived in a large house near the turn, going into Staples road at Emery's corner.
m;30 Jan 1798, Mary Clark b;15 May 1778 d.08 Oct 1863.
