Hamburg Reporter, The | Hamburg, Iowa | Thursday, September 06, 1951 Mrs. Joanna Straw, mother of Mrs, Fred Beason, passed away Aug 28, at the Adams Nursing home in Nebraska City where she had lived for the past fire years. She had been confined to a wheel chair for 22 years, due to arthritis. Survivors include her husband, nine children, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Porter Funeral home in Nebraska City. Burial was in Wyuka cemetery.
