bullet  General Notes:

Ephraim was said to be the "first white male child to be born in town(Pembroke).." He relocated to Bow sometime in the 1750s or early 1760s. He married a Hannah Rogers who may have been a resident of Bow..there were eleven children born to them including twin boys( with only one of them surviving). It is unknown when Hannah died but Ephraim did marry a second time to Jennie Moor (her background unknown) and the marriage took place in the Congregational Church in Pembroke and was performed by Rev. Zaccheus Colby on February 27, 1789..Ephraim was now 50 yrs old and his oldest child 30. At this time he listed himself as a resident of Pembroke..the list of taxpayers for 1805 does not include his name. He does not appear to be buried in the Pembroke Street Cemetery.
