research has shown a Wm Straw who died in Fayston, VT 1833
1835 VT Pension file for a Wm Straw b c 1755 and who served on MA line indicates this Wm had a son Philip age 16y (born c. 1819) and a daughter married to" Mr." Davis. This may have been a brother to Valentine Sr rather than a son??

IGI files indicate the William who married Polly Roberts was the s/o James Straw and Mary _____. [I disagree. James Straw and Mary Buswell's son William b 1787 married Charlotte Abbott]

IGI files also list a William Straw born c1791 in Waterbury, VT who died 3 June 1871 and married Polly Roberts. [I disagree...that Wm was only 12 yrs old and a probable s/o Charles Alva Straw and Betsey Leighton;;he was serving time in a reform school in Waterbury and may have died there]

per research of James W. Straw:This couple may have had a daughter named Mary b.c14 Dec 1807; died 14 Dec 1851 age 44 and is bur in Old South Cemetery in Duxbury, VT. who married 24 March 1833 Duxbury, VT to Samuel Bement Atherton the s/o Adinijah Atherton and Polly Chamberlain. Samuel born 16 January 1808 Duxbury, VT and died 30 May 1861.
