I am looking for parentage of Seth Farnsworth, born 1827 in Lamoille Co. VT, married 07/16/1854 in Youngstown, Niagara Co, NY to Maria L. Sumner. Seth and Maria moved to Iowa City, IA and had two children. Seth fought for Union in Civil War and was captured by Rebels and died in Andersonville Prison, GA on 08/01/1864. I have info on his daughters and their various offspring (including myself) but I have nothing on Seth's parentage. Any help would be appreciated. Steve Caldwell, caldwellroots@att.net

Straw was born on 20 Sep 1832 in Stowe, Lamoille County, Vermont, died on 16 May 1911 and was buried in Riverbank Cemetery in Stowe, Lamoille County, Vermont.)
