The Book of Wyandot County, Ohio reveals that T. Y. Moody (Timothy) of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, was the son of DAVID MOODY and PRISCILLA CADY. They settled in Vermont before marriage, and were the parents of Timothy and Priscilla. the latter residing in Upper Sandusky, wife of John Justice. DAVID MOODY died in 1840 at age 66. They had eleven children, only two of them now living, Timothy and Priscilla. The parents (David and Priscilla Cady Moody) removed from their native State (this article mistakenly calls their native state MA; should be ME for David and VT, possibly MA, for Priscilla, according to censuses.) to Clark County, Ohio, in 1819, and five years later to Crawford County (now Wyandot), purchasing land near Bowsherville, where they resided until their death; the father's decease took place about 1840, at the age of sixty-six years; the mother survived till 1868, and died in her ninety-sixth year.(Priscilla in fact is alive, age 90 in 1870 per census, living with her daughter and son in law, Priscilla and John Justice in Mifflin, Wyandot, Ohio...BJB) from: The Book of Wyandot County, Ohio, on the page of T.Y. Moody.
Priscilla married David Moody, son of Capt Clement Moody and Mary, on 1 Dec 1797 in Waterbury, Washington County, Vermont. (David Moody was born in 1775 in Massabesick, York County, Maine, died in 1840-1850 in Pitt, Wyandot County, Ohio and was buried in Oak Hill Cemetery; Upper Sandusky, Wyandot County, Ohio.)
